Where We Do Solar Work Near The Colony

Homeowners in The Colony and nearby towns call us to install, fix and wash their solar systems. Our crew works the same way in every town: covers on the ground, clear paths to your door, and a walk around your home to pick up before we go each day.

Where Our Crews Work

Most of our work is right here in The Colony and the towns next door. We are in Lewisville, Hackberry, Little Elm, Paloma Creek South, Lake Dallas and Highland Village all the time. Those are short drives, so coming back for a follow-up visit or a quick check after a repair is easy for us.

We also take jobs a little farther out in Frisco, Plano, Carrollton and Addison. The work is the same in every town: solar panel installation, roof-mounted solar, battery storage, solar repair and panel cleaning. So is the way we leave the site. Ladders come down at the end of the day, wire clippings and packaging go in our trailer, and your yard and driveway look like they did before we parked. If you are not sure your street is in our area, just ask when you call.

What We See Across the Area

  • Housing age and layout

Most homes around here were built from the 1980s on, many with shingle roofs and an attached garage. That often means a usable south or west roof face and a main electrical panel on an outside garage wall, which keeps wire runs short. We look at the roof's age and condition first. If it needs work, we tell you before any panels go up so you can take care of it.

  • Heat and hail

North Texas summers run hot, and panels lose some output as they heat up. Spring storms bring hail and strong wind. We mount panels with an air gap underneath to help them cool, and we seal every roof attachment. After a hard storm we can come check for cracked glass or loose wiring.

  • Dust and pollen

Long dry spells and spring pollen leave a film on panels that a light rain does not wash off. Our panel cleaning uses soft brushes and plain water, and we keep runoff off your beds and patio.

  • Permits and the utility

Each city runs its own permit and inspection, and the utility has to approve the connection before a system turns on. We pull the permit, meet the inspector and handle the utility paperwork. Timing varies a bit from city to city, and we tell you where things stand at each step.

  • HOA reviews

A lot of neighborhoods here have an HOA. Texas law generally keeps an HOA from banning panels outright, but most still want to review the plans. We put together a simple layout drawing you can send in with your application.
